Project Requirement
Our client needed to store 10 – 12 ton of horse feed oats in a safe, secure and resilient storage silo that was raised to a height to be able to reverse a side-by-side buggy underneath to transfer feed from the silo to the stables. The Client also needed a quick and easy way to ascertain the level of the feed remaining in the silo.
Solution Provided
A PSRS-19.28 silo with an 1800mm clearance beneath the outlet and the silo bin molded in translucent polyethylene was proposed.
Scope of Work
The scope of work for this project at the Racehorse Spelling Stud was to deliver and install a 10-12 ton silo to the customers location and install on customers slab.
- Product Design: Poly Silo in translucent polyethylene in a galvanised steel support frame raised to 1800mm clearance.
- Engineering: Raised silo frame design engineered to pass wind loading zone and slab design provided.
- Product: Manufacture: Silo and Frame manufactured at Enmach facility in Bundaberg Queensland
- Delivery: Silo delivered on a Enmach truck that has a crane fitted to facilitate simple and hassle free installation.
- Installation: Enmach Team installed silo on customer’s slab.
